Manchester United will face Liverpool on Sunday without Paul Pogba and goalkeeper David De Gea. Team manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed on Wednesday. Manchester United‘s performance has been affected by the players’ injuries in this season and they have not yet been able to perform effectively as a team.
Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea was got injured on Tuesday during Euro 2020 qualifier match against Sweden. “David needs a scan and it looks like that he’ll be sitting out against Liverpool,” said Norway based coach Solskjaer.
Star midfielder Paul Pogba still unfit for upcoming game:
France’s 26-year-old star midfielder Paul Pogba yet to recover from an ankle injury. Pogba missed the last five games out of the last seven games for Manchester united.
“Paul had an injury, he’ll come back and played for the team very soon. He had a scan after Arsenal game and he needs few weeks to recover, he still needs rest and surely will not be part in a match against Liverpool.” Solskjaer added.
Hopefully, Antony Martial, Luke Shaw, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be available for the upcoming clash against Liverpool.
